Reservations
The Grand Hyatt Seattle is the official hotel for the conference. Our room block is now full. We do have an overflow hotel, the Olive 8 Hyatt (1635 8th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101), located directly across the street from the Grand Hyatt. The rates are $185 - single or double occupancy, plus 15.6% local/state taxes. To book your reservations online, click here. By phone, call 402-592-6464 or 888-421-1442. Make sure you mention "Grants Managers Network or GMN Conference" in order to receive the discounted rate. If you encounter any problems with making your hotel reservations, contact the Event Professionals (GMN’s meeting planners) at 770-760-9998 or email gmnconference [at] theeventpros [dot] net. The deadline to make your hotel reservation at the overflow hotel is Monday, February 28, 2011.

The Grand Hyatt Seattle is located 21 miles from Seattle-Tacoma Airport (Sea-Tac).
FROM SEA-TAC AIRPORT
Light Rail:
The new SoundTransit light rail is the most cost effective way to travel to/from Sea-Tac airport. The light rail will take about 37 minutes to reach downtown. It runs from Sea-Tac airport every 15 minutes – Monday thru Saturday (5:04 am – 12:10 am) and Sunday (6:19 am – 11:05 pm). Use Skybridge # 6 at the airport to catch the light rail to the Westlake station. Westlake is the closest station near the hotel and is about 2 blocks away. This was my first--but not my last conference. It was great to be at a conference and meet others doing similar work who had the same issues. It was just difficult to pick sessions because I wanted to attend them all.
