2011 Salary and Benefits Report

Did You Know…. 

• $65,000 was the median member salary in 2011, up from $62,100 in 2009.
• 70% of GMN members received a salary increase in 2011.
• 51% of GMN members use flexible work options offered by their employers.
• 33% of GMN members have a Master’s/Professional degree

These were some of the results of the 2011 Salary Survey. The GMN Salary Survey is a biannual examination of grants management compensation and benefits. It guides employers looking to measure salary ranges, check salary increase trends, and compare benefits relative to similar grantmaking organizations. It also helps grants managers understand their value and negotiate competitive compensation.
